おかげさまをもちまして、第45回 笠間の陶炎祭(ひまつり)も無事７日間のイベントを終える事ができました。
最後は恒例の、広報スタッフによる「2026」年の人文字で締めたいと思います。
今年の来場者は約83000人という事でたくさんの方に来場者いただき感謝でございます。
関係者はじめ参加した作り手の皆さま本当にお疲れ様でした。
この７日間のイベントのために小屋を建てたりした陶芸家もいたりして、も少し片付けもかかりますね。

また、毎年「野点」のコーナーで、お抹茶をたてていただいた先生が、ご高齢のため今年限りだったそうで、
毎年暑い日も寒い日も、お着物を着て毎日会場にてお抹茶をたてていただき本当にありがとうございました。

皆さまとはまた来年の陶炎祭でお会いできることを楽しみにしております！

The 45th Kasama Himatsuri (Kasama Pottery Festival) has successfully come to a close after seven wonderful days.

As always, we would like to finish with the traditional “2026” human lettering created by the publicity staff.

This year, approximately 83,000 visitors came to the festival, and we are truly grateful to everyone who attended.
To all the organizers, staff members, and participating ceramic artists — thank you so much for your hard work.

Some potters even built their own temporary huts and exhibition spaces for this event, so there is still a bit of cleanup left to do.

Also, the tea ceremony corner (“Nodate”), which has been a beloved part of the festival every year, was unfortunately the last participation for the tea master who has kindly prepared matcha for visitors year after year, due to her age.
Whether in the heat or the cold, she came to the venue every day wearing kimono and serving tea with great dedication.
We sincerely thank her for all these years.

We look forward to seeing everyone again at next year’s Himatsuri!
